The Bureau of Entomology and Pest Control is a unit of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The Bureau's Pest Control Section regulates and licenses the pest control industry under the authority of the Structural Pest Control Act, Chapter 482, Florida Statutes and the Associated Rules of the Department, Chapter 5E-14, Florida Administrative Code.
Please be aware that the Bureau of Entomology and Pest Control has no authority to arbitrate any claims for personal or property damage or to adjudicate settlements. Any investigations conducted are done to determine if documented violations of Chapter 482, Chapter 5E-14, or FIFRA have occurred. Documented violations are subject to administrative action in compliance with the provisions of Chapter 120, Florida Statutes.Hot Topics
Filing a Complaint - The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Bureau of Entomology and Pest Control is authorized by law to investigate any violations of the Structural Pest Control Act, Chapter 482, Florida Statutes, and/or the associated Rules, Chapter 5E-14, Florida Administrative Code.
